Visit Hana and the Seven Sacred Pools, climb Haleakala Crater, or snorkel at Black Rock in Kaanapali. It's worth the climb to visit Olowalu, which is the only place in the chain where you can see four other Hawaiian islands at once. "The Valley Isle" was Mark Twain's favorite. Farmers here produce world-famous sugar and pineapple. 10,000 foot Haleakala is the largest dormant volcano crater in the world, and Puu Kukui mountain is one of the rainiest spots on earth.
